The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) and the visiting Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA), observed McIntosh's softball team prevail over Taylor County by a tally of 9-1.

The Chiefs (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Region 3 bout with a 3-0 record.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 10. Taylor County will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 6-1 league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA).
