August 10, 2024: Athens, GA 30622 Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), 11-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Prince Avenue Christian upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA) to play the Storm in a non-league game on Monday, August 12. The Storm enter the game with a record of 1-2.
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to White County for a non-league game on Monday, August 12. Union County will play a Warriors squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Cass (White, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
