The Central Lions volleyball squad (Carrollton, GA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA)

With the win, Lowndes improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 10. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Jackson (Jackson, GA)

The Lions now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverwood for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 13. Central will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lovett (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
