Oklahoma High School Softball - Coalgate bounces Atoka
August 11, 2023: Atoka, OK 74525 Coalgate Wildcats (Coalgate, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Atoka Wampus Cats (Atoka, OK), 10-3 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tishomingo for a 3A challenge on Saturday, August 12. Coalgate will face a Indians squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Turner (Burneyville, OK). The Indians record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Atoka falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wampus cats host Tishomingo (Tishomingo, OK) to face the Indians in a 3A challenge on Monday, August 14. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Tishomingo lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Coalgate (Coalgate, OK)
