August 11, 2023: Rio Hondo, TX 78583 The Rio Hondo Bobcats topped the visiting IDEA Edinburg College Prep volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bobcats now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 15. Rio Hondo will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bastrop (Bastrop, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-5.
The (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Port Isabel (Port Isabel, TX). The Tarpons enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Port Isabel was knocked off by San Perlita (San Perlita, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
