August 12, 2021: Statesboro, GA 30458 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Portal Panthers (Portal, GA), by a margin of 11-4.
With the triumph, Bulloch Academy moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Gators travel to Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA) to play the Trojans in a GISA Region 2 contest on Monday, August 16. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 14. Portal will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 14-0 league loss to Brentwood (Sandersville, GA).
