Oklahoma High School Softball - Wynnewood holds off Asher
August 12, 2022: Asher, OK 74826 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Wynnewood Savages (Wynnewood, OK) and the host Asher Indians (Asher, OK), witnessed Wynnewood's softball squad tip Asher by a count of 6-4.
The Savages now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Stratford for a non-league match on Tuesday, August 16. Wynnewood will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Dibble (Dibble, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Asher moves to 0-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Maud (Maud, OK) to meet the Tigers in a Class B match on Monday, August 15. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 0-0.
