Oklahoma High School Softball - Westmoore nudges Jay
August 12, 2023: Jay, OK 74346 Westmoore Jaguars (Oklahoma City, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Jaguars now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miami for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 12. Westmoore will face a Wardogs squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Moore (Moore, OK). The Wardogs record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Jay falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hilldale (Muskogee, OK) to face the Hornets in a 4A District 7 challenge on Monday, August 14. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Hilldale won 10-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Jenks (Jenks, OK)
