Oklahoma High School Softball - Perry nudges Southmoore
August 12, 2023: Perry, OK 73077 Perry Maroons (Perry, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Southmoore SaberCats (Moore, OK), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Maroons now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuttle for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 12. Perry will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Southmoore falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Sabercats host Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 14. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Putnam City 0-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Owasso (Owasso, OK)
