August 12, 2023: Nevada, TX 75173 The Lubbock Westerners topped the host Community Braves volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Westerners now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lancaster for a non-league test on Saturday, August 12. Lubbock will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
The Braves (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Denison (Denison, TX). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Denison was knocked off by Rider (Wichita Falls, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
