August 12, 2024: Corbin, KY 40701 Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Wayne County moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Clinton County (Albany, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Redhounds now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danville for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28.
