The Parkview Panthers softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Loganville Red Devils to 7 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norcross for a 6A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, August 13. Parkview will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Loganville moves to 2-3 on the season. The Red devils travel to Alcovy (Covington, GA) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Region 8 match on Thursday, August 15. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-1. Alcovy won 10-5 in their recent non-league match against Union County (Blairsville, GA)
