The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Murrieta Mesa Rams (Murrieta, CA) and the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), witnessed Murrieta Mesa's flag football squad edge El Capitan by a tally of 15-13.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Elsinore (Wildomar, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Elsinore was tipped by Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA), 25-0, in a non-league bout.

The Vaqueros now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Academy of Our Lady of Peace for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 14.
