California High School Flag Football - La Sierra can't hold off Yucaipa
August 12, 2025: Yucaipa, CA 92399 The Yucaipa Thunderbirds got by the visiting La Sierra Eagles flag football squad by a count of 25-18 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon Springs for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Yucaipa will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 27-18 non-league win over JW North (Riverside, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against California Military Institute (Perris, CA). The Rough Riders go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, California Military Institute nipped Arlington (Riverside, CA), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
