In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting West Carter Comets soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Lawrence County Bulldogs.

The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders go into the District 62 outing with a 1-0 record. In their last test, East Carter edged Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 8-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belfry for a District 57 test on Thursday, August 14.
