August 12, 2025: Walnut Grove, GA 30052 The Walnut Grove Warriors triumphed over the visiting Jefferson Dragons softball squad by a count of 12-7 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buford for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 13. Walnut Grove will confront a Wolves team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Jefferson moves to 1-1 on the season. The Dragons host Hart County (Hartwell, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 13. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
