August 12, 2025: Burnsville, NC 28714 McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, McDowell advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Titans travel to East Rutherford (Bostic, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 1-1. East Rutherford won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
With the loss, Mountain Heritage drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to face the Black Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, August 14. The Black Hawks go into the game with a record of 0-0.
