North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashe County over Davie County
August 13, 2025: West Jefferson, NC 28694 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Ashe County Huskies volleyball team scored a 3-1 win over the Davie County War Eagles.
With the win, Ashe County advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Indians go into the test with a record of 1-1.
The War Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Surry for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. Davie County will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.
