Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Croatan advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC) to play the Rampants in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. The Rampants come into the outing with a record of 2-0. J.H. Rose won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC)

With the loss, Pamlico County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 13.
