August 12, 2025: Longview, TX 75608 Fans at Tuesday's non-league test between the Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) and the visiting Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX), saw Pine Tree's volleyball squad achieve victory over Grace Community by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Pine Tree improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Arp (Arp, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-0. Arp won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX)
The Cougars now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tyler HEAT for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 15. Grace Community will meet a team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Texas Homeschool Sports (Longview, TX). The record now stands at 4-0.
