With the win, Heard County improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Braves travel to Model (Rome, GA) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Model won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Coosa (Rome, GA)
The Pirates now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a 2A Area 2 battle on Thursday, August 14. Pike County will encounter a Seminoles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Southwest (Macon, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 2-2.
