California High School Volleyball - Kennedy bounced by Highland

August 12, 2025: Bakersfield, CA 93306

Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Scots (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA). The Blades come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, East Bakersfield beat Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds meet the West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 14. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
