Mississippi High School Volleyball - Provine overwhelmed by Murrah
August 12, 2025: Jackson, MS 39209 Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS) followers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Provine Rams (Jackson, MS), 3-0 in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Forest Hill for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Murrah will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lanier (Jackson, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Provine moves to 0-2 on the season. The Rams host Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Thursday, August 14. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 0-2. Holmes County Central lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Gentry (Indianola, MS)
