The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), saw Ridge Point's volleyball squad nip Dripping Springs by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Ridge Point upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 16. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Bridgeland won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Brandeis (San Antonio, TX)

The Tigers now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Ridge for a non-league bout on Monday, August 15. Dripping Springs will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 8-2.
