North Carolina High School Volleyball - Middle Creek can't get by Wakefield
August 13, 2024: Apex, NC 27539 Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wakefield advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Sanderson (Raleigh, NC) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 21. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willow Spring for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 14. Middle Creek will face a Storm squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Storm record now stands at 0-1.
