North Carolina High School Volleyball - Forsyth Country Day can't get by Mount Tabor
August 13, 2024: Lewisville, NC 27023 Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mount Tabor advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to West Stokes (King, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 14. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-1. West Stokes lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)
The Furies now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walkertown for a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. Forsyth Country Day will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-1.
