Georgia High School Softball - Miller County bounces Baconton Charter
August 13, 2024: Colquitt, GA 39837 The Miller County Pirates softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Baconton Charter Blazers to 6 in the Pirates league win on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pelham for a 1A D-II Region 1 battle on Tuesday, August 20.
With the loss, Baconton Charter moves to 0-3 on the season. The Blazers host Mitchell County (Camilla, GA) to confront the Eagles in a 1A D-II Region 1 battle on Thursday, August 15. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-1.
