August 13, 2024: El Campo, TX 77437 Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Columbus improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cardinals host La Grange (La Grange, TX) to face the Leopards in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Leopards go into the test with a record of 0-1. La Grange lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Weimar (Weimar, TX)
The Ricebirds now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league test on Friday, August 16. El Campo will face a Flyers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Flyers record now stands at 0-2.
