In Wednesday's non-league match, the Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Raiders battle the Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 14. Hobgood Charter will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).
