North Carolina High School Soccer - Northwest Cabarrus toppled by Concord Academy
August 13, 2025: Concord, NC 28027 Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Concord Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 14. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Mooresville won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)
With the loss, Northwest Cabarrus moves to 0-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Bradford Prep lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)
