North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lake Norman edged by Maiden

The Lake Norman Wildcats volleyball team (Mooresville, NC), was tipped 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC)

The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears enter the Western Foothills 4A/5A contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bunker Hill was tipped by Hickory (Hickory, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 14. Lake Norman will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC).
