August 13, 2025: Deep Run, NC 28525 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) and the visiting Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), observed South Lenoir's volleyball squad notch a victory over Richlands by a score of 3-1.
With the win, South Lenoir improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Dixon lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)
The Wildcats now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwest Onslow for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 14. Richlands will meet a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-1.
