August 14, 2023: Swainsboro, GA 30401 The Wheeler County Bulldogs softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Swainsboro Tigers to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Wheeler County improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Atkinson County (Pearson, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 15. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 2-1. Atkinson County won 21-6 in their recent non-league game against Brooks County (Quitman, GA)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 game, on Thursday, August 17. Swainsboro will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
