Kentucky High School Volleyball - Newport crushed by Dayton
August 14, 2023: Dayton, KY 41074 The Dayton Greendevils topped the visiting Newport Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.
The Greendevils now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boone County for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 16. Dayton will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Bracken County was knocked off by Scott (Covington, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
