August 14, 2024: Marshville, NC 28103 South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, South Stanly improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls travel to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Timberwolves go into the test with a record of 1-0. Montgomery Central won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)
The Yellow Jackets now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee Park Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. Forest Hills will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
