August 14, 2024: Mocksville, NC 27028 Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Starmount moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rams host North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, August 19. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-1. North Wilkes lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
The War Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a non-league test on Monday, August 19. Davie will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-3.
