Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Western Guilford advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to play the Villains in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. The Villains go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Bishop McGuinness lost 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC)

With the loss, High Point Central moves to 0-1 on the year. The Bison travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Southwest Guilford lost 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)
