August 14, 2025: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 The Mt. Zion Eagles softball squad scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Chattooga Indians to 3 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
Next, the Eagles meet the Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Mt. Zion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record.
With the loss, Chattooga moves to 2-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA) to confront the Lions in a 1A D-I Region 7 battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 0-3. Christian Heritage lost 13-5 in their recent non-league battle against Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA)
