Texas High School Volleyball - Dayton tips Port Neches-Groves
August 14, 2025: Port Neches, TX 77651 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Dayton Broncos volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Port Neches-Groves Indians.
The Broncos (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Hamshire-Fannett tipped Vidor (Vidor, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridge City for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. Port Neches-Groves will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Liberty (Liberty, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
