In Thursday's non-league match, the Forsyth Central Bulldogs (Cumming, GA) volleyball team held off the host Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), by a margin of 2-1.

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Norcross for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 19. Forsyth Central will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over West Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-3.
