The Wimberley Texans topped the visiting Gainesville Leopards volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

The Texans now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Smithville for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14.

With the loss, Gainesville drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 5-1. Blue Ridge won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Miller Grove (Cumby, TX)
