The Lowndes Vikings volleyball squad (Valdosta, GA), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA)

With the win, Veterans improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Warhawks host Northside (Columbus, GA) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 1-6. Northside won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Spalding (Griffin, GA)

The Vikings now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Suwannee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 19.
