Fans at Thursday's league contest between the O'Bannon Greenwaves (Greenville, MS) and the host North Side Gators (Shelby, MS), saw O'Bannon's volleyball squad notch a victory over North Side by a score of 3-0.

With the win, O'Bannon improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Greenwaves travel to Riverside (Avon, MS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Class 2A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 2-6. Riverside lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against McLaurin (Florence, MS)
