August 14, 2025: Dexter, GA 31019 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) and the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA), saw West Laurens's volleyball squad nudge Toombs County by a score of 2-1.
With the win, West Laurens improves its record to 1-6 on the season. The Raiders host Veterans (Kathleen, GA) to encounter the Warhawks in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 20. The Warhawks go into the battle with a record of 8-1. Veterans won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dublin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 19. Toombs County will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 0-2.
