The Lake Norman Wildcats held off the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maiden for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17.

The Red Tornadoes (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record.
