The Montgomery Central Timberwolves soccer team (Troy, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC)

With the win, Piedmont advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 22. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Timberwolves play the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 16.
