In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the host Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 17. Middle Creek will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Bengals come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC).
