August 15, 2023: George West, TX 78022 The George West Longhorns volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Cole Cougars to 0 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Longhorns now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robstown for a non-league game on Friday, August 18. George West will meet a Cottonpickers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Cottonpickers record now stands at 1-1.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Stacey (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 5-4 record.
