August 15, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30506 The Union County Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host East Forsyth Broncos to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens for a non-league game on Thursday, August 17. Union County will meet a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 2-2.
The Broncos (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Dawson County was nudged by Westminster (Atlanta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
