August 15, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) and the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), saw Stockbridge's volleyball squad beat Newton by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Stockbridge upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Tigers host Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Rams now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Rockdale County for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. Newton will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
